UNDER PROPER COVER

Got out of class early so I went down to Proper to check out what's in stock because I haven't been there in a while.

When I arrived there, there's a bunch of people were by 1st St. and Frontenac Ct. I'm all confused and curious what's going on, so I asked around.

But first, I went to Proper - shoes/sneaker side.


I asked one the film crew and said that they are filming a TV Show on NBC called "Undercovers".
(Can't believe I'm doing a free advertisement of that show... Haha)


Props for the show. I think the setting is suppose to be in Rio De Janeiro (checked the license plate of the car back there).
Yes, the fruits and vegetable looks so real, but it's plastic.

I don't know whether this is a prop car or a real border patrol car. Haha.

Then went to Proper - clothing side.
Talked to Dubs for a while about a couple of stuff.

LONG ANGELES

Met up with Justin (who recently just moved from Hawaii to Carson for college). Decided to go to a couple of boutiques/shoe stores.

Showed him around Downtown Long Beach, where Proper, Seams, and Long Beach Fixed.

Then, headed out to Downtown LA in Little Tokyo for RIF-LA so Justin can get money for his Jordan V - Blk/Metallic.

Manny and Murad were too busy moving shoe boxes here and there, then packing shoe boxes, and labeling them.

Afterward, went to Wilmington for some carne asada fries because Justin wanted to try it.
Albertas Restaurant - one of the few places that I know that makes/sells the "hidden menu" or not - Carne Asada fries.

Good thing I was wearing some Air Max's because I had to run towards this cheese steak stand at 1st St. by Proper because they were already starting to clean up.
I smelled their cheese steak all the way from Long Beach Blvd. Haha.

Yeah, I got both cheese steaks - fries and sandwich.

Had to eat the cheese steak fries first because the sandwich can wait at home.

Took home the cheese steak sandwich with some chili paste/sauce on it to give it some spiciness.

Visiting Long Beach

Since both of my classes were canceled due to some unknown reason and the teacher not notifying us about it, I decided to go to Long Beach...

I first went to Nordstrom Rack to check if they have some goodies. Yup, they did, but one of them was not my size. Then, found some good runners. Plain blk/wht - Nike Air Max 1 and some Nike Air Structure Triax. (Wished I had money).
Afterwards, I went to Proper to check their out shoes/clothes. I noticed that Black Market closed down which sucks because I wanted to buy some stuff there, but never got to. Then to Long Beach Fixed Gear (LBFG) to get a price quote on a complete rear wheel, but it turns out to be way too much ! (Scroll down for the price)
Then back to school.

Found a size 7 Vans Era Fixed Gear (Don't know the exact name)
