NIKE x TOM SACHS MARS YARD SHOE

Although it seems out of place for Union to sell Nike shoes again, but it fits perfectly to the store's lifestyle or high-end stuff...

I'm just going to paraphrase/quote a friend of mine about it - "It's better for Union to sell them because if it was at NikeTown, most consumers will not buy them due to it's price tag." ($385 for the shoes and I don't know how much are the bags and jackets).

As you can see below, jackets and bags are more suitable for the customers of Union rather than NikeTown or maybe Nike Santa Monica.

NIKE SB GUINNESS BEER

While I was on Dictionary.com, this caught my attention because of the words - Nike and trouble.

I thought Nike had another copyright infringement, but when I clicked it, the definition of the Black and Tan came up...

Well, it's suppose to be based on the Guinness beer because that's the color of their beer.
Also, since most people are not into shoes and not aware of Nike getting their inspirations from beers like Heineken, New Castle, Tecate, and Miller High Life, they made a big deal about it...



Black and Tan:

Usually, Black and Tans. an armed force of about 6000 soldiers sent by the British government to Ireland in June, 1920, to suppress revolutionary activity: so called from the colors of their uniform.

Yeah, got a pair of Amsterdam AM1, but then it's not my size... Haha.
They are size 10.5 and it comes with OG box.

Happy Chinese New Year or kung hei fat choi.
Yeah, Nike released these to coincide along with Chinese New Year...
The retail was 250 which is a bit too pricey for a retail price...

SAMPLE NIKE SB DUNK LOW - KOSTON

The difference between the released pair and the sample pair is the translucent bottom sole, insole print, and possibly the slight blue fading(?)
Took some pictures with and without flash.

SAMPLE NIKE SB DUNK HIGH - KOSTON/THAI TEMPLE

During RIF-LA's Black Friday sale, I kept on eying these Sample Nike SB Dunk High - Koston aka "Thai Temple", but I could pull the trigger to buy 'em for 95. Also, a lot of people just kept on passing by it and not even looking at them thinking it's the same as the released pair, but it's not. Haha.
After the cleaning up the store, Jeff was giving out crazy deals. Like 3 pairs of shoes for 120 and those were worth more than 120!! So, I went ahead asked how much...
Eventually I bought them and sold them the next day.

Thanks to Jeff of RIF-LA for giving me a good deal on 'em!

The only difference between the samples and released pair is the back part of it.











The back part for the released pair, it has that grid type of patterned on 'em and it doesn't have that stitching under the tip of the swoosh.

SAMPLE NIKE SB BRUIN - CAMO QUICKSTRIKE

I was able to finally take better pictures of this Nike Sb Bruin - "Camo" which was a quickstrike. (Thanks to Jeff of RIF-LA for letting me take pictures).
(My previous pictures that I posted of this samples were horrible pictures.)

I still don't know the difference between this sample pair and the released pair.
