Got to see these samples and tried getting them, but eventually failed. Haha.

The difference between the sample and released pair were:

- The back heel stitching "Way of Life".
- Used all suede material (sample) instead of suede and canvas (released pair).
- Navy-Blue suede seem a lot darker.
- Insole: "Vans" patch stitched on the insole instead of printed.

(NOTE: I don't have these so don't bother asking if I'm selling them.)

The difference between the sample and the released pair:
- Sample pair is all suede.
- Released pair are combination of suede and canvas (middle part of the Sk8-Mids).

- Sample pair: Stitching in the back saying "Way of Life"
- Released pair: No stitching in the back.

W)TAPS x VANS SK8-MID LEOPARD PRINT

In case you didn't know, these W)Taps Sk8-Mid's are Japan exclusive only. Meaning they didn't drop in the U.S.!! But I believe that we had a U.S. Exclusive - the Black and Navy-Blue pair.

ITS ACTUALLY RELEASING

A spy shot of this collection surfaced on the forum awhile back, and now we have found a few nicer shots of the Buffalo Boot, thanks to Swish36 on SC forums. Some rumors have been going around, that the W)Taps leopard sk8-mid is a Japan exclusive, but not sure about the Buffalo Boot. Syndicate never fails to deliver on the goods, and these preview shots are a nice glimpse into the future of Syndicate, despite another rumor! Not much info about these, but samples have been shipped to your local “S” dealers, so if you know somebody, then you better ask somebody!

W)TAPS x VANS SK8-MID & AUTHENTICS

Vans take influence from their previous collections with the release of the SK8MID and Authentic in new styles. The Authentic has been inspired by Doc Martins, with signature colorways and leather that automatically brings that style to mind. Vans take their classic high-top and adds elements from the W)taps collaboration to create a sueded style with spider web graphics. Look for both styles to be released this November.
